Join an organization that is working to enhance the lives of Black Women

With a focus on our mission to assist Black women and their families, Congress of Black Women Ontario volunteer members are committed to uplifting and building a strong community. We collaborate to deliver events, programs, and workshops in our communities where there is a chapter.  Several of our programs focus on wellness and education.

We are inviting like minded women to join Congress of Black Women, find a chapter new you!  For a few hours per month, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Unleash your leadership potential via immersive Governance and Leadership Training.
  • Hone your public speaking prowess, elevating your communication skills to new heights.
  • Immerse in invaluable networking, embracing sisterhood and earning well-deserved membership recognition.
  • Drive impactful engagement with our Black youth, particularly within our educational endeavors.
  • Play a pivotal role in designing and executing transformative programs.
  • Dive into our enriching workshops and vibrant community events, fostering personal and communal growth.
  • Join forces with the Congress team and diverse organizations to amplify collective impact.
  • Extend mentorship and receive mentorship, fostering mutual growth and empowerment.

Membership

  • Membership is open to Black women 16 years of age and over, who accepts the mission, vision and objectives of the Congress.
  • Associate membership is available to any organization or individual who believes in the mission, vision, objectives and values of the organization.
  • Membership in the organization is through the regional chapters.
