The business and strategic direction of the Congress is managed by the regional executives.
Locally
Working within the framework of the mission and vision of the organization, each chapter is responsible for outreach as is relevant to their respective communities. Each chapter is governed by a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, and supported by Committee chairs as their programs, activities and events stipulate.
The regional office provides direction and support to the chapters in their mission to address the needs of Black Women and their families in their respective communities.
Member Meetings
Members’ Meetings are held every three months to enable organization collaboration, strategic planning, member support, and ongoing Congress advancement. Workshops and presentations are often a part of the meeting agenda.
